The Media vs Palin pt 1

The mainstream media has jumped Sarah Palin with all fours.  The pretense of bias has been dropped in favor of a full court press.  I can only assume that this is so because of their fear of her and what she brings to McCain’s campaign.

I found this compilation on http://theanchoressonline.com comparing the questions that Charles Gibson asked Barack Obama against the questions he asked Sarah Palin.

OBAMA INTERVIEW:

How does it feel to break a glass ceiling?
How does it feel to “win”?
How does your family feel about your “winning” breaking a glass ceiling?
Who will be your VP?
Should you choose Hillary Clinton as VP?
Will you accept public finance?
What issues is your campaign about?
Will you visit Iraq?
Will you debate McCain at a town hall?
What did you think of your competitor’s [Clinton] speech?

PALIN INTERVIEW:
Do you have enough qualifications for the job you’re seeking? Specifically have you visited foreign countries and met foreign leaders?
Aren’t you conceited to be seeking this high level job?
Questions about foreign policy
-territorial integrity of Georgia
-allowing Georgia and Ukraine to be members of NATO
-NATO treaty
-Iranian nuclear threat
-what to do if Israel attacks Iran
-Al Qaeda motivations
-the Bush Doctrine
-attacking terrorists harbored by Pakistan
Is America fighting a holy war?

Soft questions for Obama vs misleading questions that deal with extremely serious issues that are outside of the purview of a political interview for Palin.

Media bias is a serious issue.   The mainstream media votes 90% democrat.  Studies have been out there for years that show that.  They have a very powerful voice in who becomes president.  John McCain has to run against not only, Barack Obama, but against NBC, CBS, ABC, MSNBC, CNN, The New York Times, the LA Times and PBS.   Fox News for all the claims of its right wing bias is the closest to being fair and balanced.  Fox News will bring people in from both sides of the political equation.  When the others have a Republican it will frequently be a moderate or they’ll set up a situation where you have one conservative vs multiple libs.
